Love Me Do by Lindsey Kelk is the true definition of a rom-com. Equal parts funny, heartwarming and full of swoon; there is something for everyone in this book! Every time I read a book by this author, I walk away throughly enjoying the experience and asking myself “why haven’t I read more of her books!?”
British greeting card writer, Phoebe is on holiday to the states visiting her sister. Except, her boss-babe sister suddenly has to go out of town for work meetings and to fix some issues! Not to worry, her personal trainer and assistant, Bel, will hang out with Phoebe for a couple of days. Bel and Phoebe immediately hit off and Phoebe finds herself playing matchmaker when she finds out Bel has a crush on the next door neighbor, Ren. The same neighbor Phoebe had the best meet-cute with and thought maybe something was there. That’s okay, she’s only on holiday anyway…
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This one was hilarious, charming, and just delightful. I loved how Phoebe made friends with everyone wherever she went, even the cranky older neighbor down the street! I loved how this holiday provided healing for her broken heart. I think this one is worth the read. For hardcore romance readers, this one veers more towards chick lit.
