The Shampoo Effect by Jenny Jackson - {Thank you @prhaudio for the gifted audiobook of The Shampoo Effect by Jenny Jackson narrated by the amazing Marin Ireland.  I really enjoyed this one and felt transported right along to the small seaside town in this story.}  I loved this one just as much as Jenny’s previous novel—Pineapple Street.  Jenny nails rich people, friendships, and drama.  She explores lingering romantic feelings of lifelong friends in this perfect summer read!  

The Great Outdoors by Kayla Olsen - {Thank you @simon.audio via @librofm for the gifted audiobook copy dual narrated by Rebekkah Ross and Andre Santana.  They nailed the yearning in this story!}  I adore heartwarming romances filled with witty banter so this one really delivered for me.  The icing on the cake was the multimedia format including vlogs, journaling and emails.  This is an opposites attract trope with only one bed (or in this case, only one tent!).  It’s about a high-maintenance woman who embarks on a wilderness trek to prove to her ex how low-maintenance she can be—only to find herself with no makeup and an extremely attractive trek leader.  If you enjoyed Any Trope But You by Victoria Lavine, I think you’ll enjoy this one too!

Ancient History Between Us by Kaitlyn Hill - {Thank you again to @prhaudio for the gifted audiobook of Ancient History Between Us by Kaitlyn Hilldual narrated by Shannon Tyo and Nick Trengove.}  I listened to the audiobook of this on a flight home from Italy. (A vacation I didn’t want to leave!) The setting of this book and all of the descriptions were spectacular—spot on! However, I found the pacing, story, and characters were lacking something, but I can’t quite put my finger on what. It’s also my fault for not realizing this was a YA novel. With the appropriate exceptions this this childhood best friends second chances story will be an enjoyable read.
