I had to see what all the fuss was about. I couldn’t see how a book about a relationship between a 39 year old and a 20 year could work out. And not just any 20 year old, but a huge music celebrity. I’m 41 and my daughter is 20. I just couldn’t wrap my mind around it. And did I want to wrap my mind around it. But somehow…the author made it work.
Solene is divorced, owns an art gallery and is the mom to twelve year old, Isabelle. A twelve year old that is obsessed with the music group August Moon. (*cough*cough* One Direction) Isabelle and her dad are supposed to go to an August Moon concert with back stage passes, but at the last minute he cancels. Leaving Solene to take her daughter. The last thing she expects is to hit in off with music group member, Hayes.
Hayes and August Moon are on tour, so every chance he can, Hayes invites Solene along a tour stop. I loved this part of the book; all the traveling! It was all over the world! They do a good job at first keeping their relationship a secret, but what happens as they get in deeper and their secret is exposed? It was only supposed to be one night!
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 I read this book in one sitting. Yes, it’s steamy, but honestly I didn’t think it was off the charts or too crazy. The author did a good job and it was tasteful and not cringey. Not a five star for me because I didn’t like them keeping things from the daughter and the ending was very abrupt! Robinne, I”m gonna need a sequel! This is a very binge-able read that a highly recommend if you read this genre. Even if you don’t this would be one to get you out of a rut.
