Title: My Husband’s Wife

Author: Alice Feeney

Publisher: Flatiron Books/Pine & Cedar

Genre: Thriller

{Many thanks to @macmillan.audio for sending me a copy to listen too! I love that Richard Armitage narrates Feeney’s books. His narration is eerie-unreliable-narrator perfection. He’s joined in this multi cast audio with Bel Powley and Henry Rowley.}

Twist after twist after twist. That’s what I’ve come to expect from Feeney’s books and My Husband’s Wife did not disappoint. It was an absolute blast from start to finish. I always think I know where her stories are headed, but there is always one last twist you’ll never see coming.

-sucks you right in

-short chapters!

-atmospheric

(hello cliffside town)

-an absolute banger!

Eden Fox, an artist on the brink of her big break, sets off for a run before her first exhibition. When she returns to the home she recently moved into—Spyglass—an enchanting old house in Hope Falls, nothing is as it should be. Her key doesn’t fit. A woman, eerily similar to her, answers the door. And her husband insists that the stranger is his wife.

Prepare yourself for the ultimate mind-bending marriage thriller and step inside Spyglass – if you dare – to experience a story where nothing is as it seems.

I’m going to leave it at that. Thrillers are best that way.
