▪️No, April Fool’s here, your @bookfriendsbookclub hosts: @bigskybooks and @mommaleighellensbooknook have THREE picks this month. One, from a favorite author, @amy.harmon.author who we are reading with for the 4th time!!
🌷First up we’re going back to school and reading The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain!
▪️Mark Twain’s classic The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn (1884) is told from the point of view of Huck Finn, a barely literate teen who fakes his own death to escape his abusive, drunken father. He encounters a runaway slave named Jim, and the two embark on a raft journey down the Mississippi River.
🌷Next we will follow up and read James by Percival Everett:
