It is hopeful and a touch magical and will fill you with all the joy & peace that the holiday season musters. It’s like a giant hug of a book!

This was first put on our radar by our friend @_the_bookish_blonde_, owner of @bookishcedarcreek over the summer. She praised the novel and promised that even though it was self published back in 2023, it was a must read! It took us awhile to get a copy but we immediately knew it was perfect for our bookclub.

We’re happy to say that Atria has re-released Theo of Golden so now everyone can enjoy it! And our amazing friends at Atria sent us extra copies to giveaway, along with a notebook and pencils for sketching.

The novel follows an elderly man who comes across 92 sketches in a coffee shop and begins purchasing them one by one and tracking down the image bearers. It is a gorgeous story of kindness, generosity, and being seen. We cannot recommend this feel good story enough!
