{Thank you @stmartinspress for the gifted copy of Liberty Island by Virginia Hume. This one returns to the rocky Maine coastline of Haven Point (her previous novel) but these books are standalone’s. OUT TOMORROW 5/5}
Looking for a summer read, but aren’t into the typical contemporary romance beach read? Then Liberty Island is for you!
What to expect:
-Historical Fiction
-Multiple Timelines
(1900 & 1922)
-Dual POV
(One a Published Author)
-Multigenerational
-Women Finding Their Independence
-Proper Society Women
-Women’s Suffrage Movement
-Love, Legacy, and Belonging
Overall I enjoyed this one, but it does start a little slow. Between that and the amount of characters, it took me a bit to find my footing into the story.
