Count Your Lucky Stars in the third book in the ‘Written in the Stars’ series by author Alexandria Bellefleur. Could you read this one without read the others? Sure. But I don’t recommend it. The characters from the previous books play a strong part and without knowing them, you just won’t enjoy it as much, I think.
Margot’s story is a second chance friends-to-lovers where she settles back in with her high school best friend, Olivia. Almost a little too easy. I would’ve liked a little more tension & conflict in the story I think. They hadn’t seen each other in 11 years, after all! And their misunderstanding back then seemed flimsy. But I’ll give them a pass because it was high school.
The gangs all back in this one - Brendan and Annie who are getting married; Olivia is their wedding planner. And of course, Elle and Darcy.
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This one was is funny. It’s sweet. It’s endearing. It’s quirky. And oh boy is it steamy. Just an FYI!
