Title: Good Spirits

Author: B.K. Borison

Publisher: Avon Books

Genre: Paranormal Romance

{Thank you @librofm for the #gifted audiobook of Good Spirits by B.K. Borison, narrated by Karissa Vacker and Will Watt. If Karissa Vacker narrates a book I need no convincing to listen to it. Will Watt is new to me, but he performed our Irish Ghost of Christmas Past brilliantly!}

I usually don’t start reading Christmas books until November or December, but since this book featured a ghost, I figured why not!?

“Christmas has always been my favorite time of year. It’s the only time of year when it feels like magic might be real.”

I really love B.K. Borison’s writing. She is without a doubt very talented! Overall, I really liked this one. I didn’t totally feel the chemistry for these characters, but I’m going to be real…this one is spicy, which isn’t my preference and the MMC has my son’s name! Eeek! However, today is pub day (10/21) and it’s sitting at 4.50 on GR with nearly one thousand reviews. Be sure to check some of those out for other thoughts and opinions. This is going to be a great book for the holiday season. It’s not too Christmas-y and more fits the cozy vibes of the season.

For fans of Happy Medium by Sarah Adler.

🎄 Book Summary 🎄

He’s the Ghost of Christmas Past. She’s not exactly Scrooge.

Ghost of Christmas Past Nolan Callahan intends to spend this holiday haunting like every other—get in, get out, return to his otherwise aimless existence as a ghost awaiting the afterlife. But when he’s faced with Harriet York, the sweetest assignment he’s ever had, he suddenly finds himself wishing for a future.

Harriet York has no idea why she’s being haunted. She’s a good person—or, at least, she tries to be. A people pleaser to her core, she always does what’s expected of her. But as she and Nolan begin to examine her past, they discover there are threads that bind them together— and realize there might be more to moving on than expected.
