October Book of the Month Subscription Box

Are you a subscriber to the popular book subscription box, Book of the Month? Each month they curate 5-7 book choices in various genres and you get to use one of your credits for one. If you like more than one, you can use additional credits or pay 10.99 per book. You're allowed a maximum of 5 books total each month. They generally have some add-ons to choose from too, but the catch is you have to pick a main book to be able to get an add-on.

Here are some recent add-ons:

Now, let's take a look at some of the books a little more closer. Wellness by Nathan Hill is the current Oprah's Book Club pick. This was a pick for me and I also have the audio through Libro.fm I will report back with a review as soon as I finish!

How to Say Babylon is a memoir and this month's Read with Jenna pick. I have too many spooky, witchy and magical books to read this month, but maybe for #nonfictionnovember

I already listened to the audio book of Young Bright Women by Jessica Knoll and you can read my review here.

I have a finished review copy coming from Simon & Schuster Book Club Favorites for What We Kept to Ourselves by Nancy Jooyoun Kim. I really enjoyed her last book The Last Story of Mina Lee, so I'm looking forward to this one.

Now what did I pick!? I blacked out a little...

I enjoyed Searching for Sylvie Lee, so I had to get The Leftover Woman by Jean Knok.

Alix E. Harrow is a new author for me, but I already have the audio of Starling House and this one is getting so much praise. It sounds perfect for spooky season!

Adrienne Young is a favorite author whether she is writing YA or adult. The Unmaking of June Farrow is another one that sounds perfect for the season.

The Unfortunate Side Effects of Heartbreak and Magic by Breanne Randall was strictly because of the cover! I'm sure I'll enjoy this one too!

Phew! My October is booked!
