Admittedly, I don’t watch a lot of television.  Nothing can hold my attention quite like a book!  However, I do enjoy tv series/movies of book adaptions from time to time.  Recently I watched the @netflix movie of the 2020 book—The Thursday Murder Club by Richard Osman.  While I personally think this would have been better suited as a series vs. a movie, it was pretty well done.  I thought the casting was fantastic—Helen Mirren & Pierce Brosnan to name a few—and the filming location was even better than I visualized when reading the book!  Book 5 is getting ready to come out on the 30th, so like I said, I wished they did a series instead to keep going.

In a peaceful retirement village, four unlikely friends meet weekly in the Jigsaw Room to discuss unsolved crimes; together they call themselves the Thursday Murder Club.

When a local developer is found dead with a mysterious photograph left next to the body, the Thursday Murder Club suddenly find themselves in the middle of their first live case.

As the bodies begin to pile up, can our unorthodox but brilliant gang catch the killer, before it's too late?
