These Precious Days

—Book Review—

Title: These Precious Days

Author: Ann Patchett

Publisher: Harper

Genre: Essays

*Pro Tip* Listen to the audio where Ann narrates. She’s not only a brilliant story teller with her words, but with her voice too! I listened to this one prepping thanksgiving dinner and the meal was perfection, so thank you Ann!

My daughter and are embarking on a road trip next month that will put us in Nashville, so I hope to stop in Ann’s bookstore!

These Precious Days is the lesson from an author that we know where fiction stories are headed, but we don’t know where life is always headed. In these Essays she ponders life. Nothing is off the table. She talks about her family, her friendships, but one in particular was Sooki, Tom Hank’s assistant. Rare random connections with people is what life is all about!

Rating: Is this like a memoir and maybe I shouldn’t give it a star rating? I don’t know. But it’s getting ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from me and a place on my favorites shelf. This is a glimpse into Ann’s mind and heart and what a gift it is.
